A bible study by Adam Osborne, JR and

Adam’s comments…. Have you ever heard a preacher in the pulpit and you can’t believe just how good that preacher’s sermon is! Week after week that same preacher continues to captivate his congregation in one great sermon after another. Or have you ever been in a Sunday school class and your quiet, humble deacon or usher leads you in one of the best Sunday school lessons that you have ever heard? Don’t you just live for weeks like that? Doesn’t your heart just cry out for joy when you see the unbeliever walk up the aisle and surrenders to God’s calling through those people whom God has empowered to preach and teach His holy word! God gives us all talents and gifts. But to some, he has empowered with the gifts of preaching and teaching. The Holy Spirit gives them their words, their sermons, and their weekly bible studies..

Acts 1:8 (KJV) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Luke 21:14-15 (KJV) Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Settle therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

John 14:26 (KJV) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Acts 6:10 (KJV) And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. But the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

Jer 1:9 (KJV) Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Settle therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

Ex 4:12 (KJV) Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.

Mark 13:10-11 (KJV) And the gospel must first be published among all nations. Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. And the gospel must first be published among all nations. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

Luke 12:11-12 (KJV) And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

1 Peter 1:12 (NIV) 12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.

2 Sam 23:2-3 (NIV) 2 “The Spirit of the LORD spoke through me; his word was on my tongue. 3 The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me: ‘When one rules over men in righteousness, when he rules in the fear of God,

Acts 2:4 (NIV) All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

John 12:48-49 (NIV) 48 There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day. 49 For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it.

John 14:10 (KJV) Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

John 16:13 (KJV) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
