AFRAID<\/span><\/h1>\n

Psalm 34:4<\/b> I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.<\/p>\n

Matthew 10:28 <\/b> Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.<\/p>\n

2 Timothy 1:7 <\/b> For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.<\/p>\n

Hebrews 13:5,6<\/b>\u00a0 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” 6 So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”<\/p>\n\n\n

Encouraging Scriptures to Overcome Fear<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Isaiah 41:10<\/strong>
    \u201cSo do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
    I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.\u201d<\/em>
    \u2192 God is your strength and your helper\u2014you\u2019re never alone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Joshua 1:9<\/strong>
    \u201cHave I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged,
    for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.\u201d<\/em>
    \u2192 Courage comes from knowing God is with us always.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Psalm 23:4<\/strong>
    \u201cEven though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.\u201d<\/em>
    \u2192 Even in life\u2019s darkest places, God is our protector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. John 14:27<\/strong>
    \u201cPeace I leave with you; my peace I give you\u2026 Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.\u201d<\/em>
    \u2192 Jesus gives us His peace\u2014it\u2019s deeper than anything the world can offer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. 2 Timothy 1:7<\/strong>
    \u201cFor God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.\u201d<\/em>
    \u2192 Fear is not from God; courage, love, and clear thinking are.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Psalm 56:3<\/strong>
    \u201cWhen I am afraid, I put my trust in you.\u201d<\/em>
    \u2192 Fear may come, but our response is to trust in Him.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Deuteronomy 31:6<\/strong>
    \u201cBe strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified\u2026 for the Lord your God goes with you;
    He will never leave you nor forsake you.\u201d<\/em>
    \u2192 God’s presence gives us unshakable confidence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Romans 8:15<\/strong>
    \u201cThe Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again;
    rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.\u201d<\/em>
    \u2192 We are God\u2019s children\u2014not slaves to fear.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
