Jeremiah 29:12 (NIV) 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Deuteronomy 4:7 (NIV) 7 What other nation is so great as to have their god’s near them the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him?

Deuteronomy 4:29
(NIV) 9 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.

1 Kings 8:47-50 (NIV) 47 and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their conquerors and say, ‘We have sinned, we have done wrong, we have acted wickedly’; 48 and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and pray to you toward the land you gave their fathers, toward the city you have chosen and the temple I have built for your Name; 49 then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause. 50 And forgive your people, who have sinned against you; forgive all the offenses they have committed against you, and cause their conquerors to show them mercy;

Psalms 50:15 (NIV) 15 and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

Psalms 91:14-15 (NIV) 14 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

Psalms 145:18 (NIV) 18 The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

Isaiah 55:6-7 (NIV) 6 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Joel 2:32 (NIV) 32 And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved;

Luke 11:9 (NIV) 9 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Romans 10:12 (NIV) 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile–the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,

John 14:14 (NIV) 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

John 15:7 (NIV)7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

1 John 3:22
(NIV) 22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.

Luke 11:1-13 (NIV) 1 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” 2 He said to them, “When you pray, say: “‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. 3 Give us each day our daily bread. 4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.'” 5 Then he said to them, “Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, 6 because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.’ 7 “Then the one inside answers, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.’ 8 I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man’s boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs. 9 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. 11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Luke 18:1-8 (NIV) 1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2 He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3 And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ 4 “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care about men, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually wear me out with her coming!'” 6 And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Zech 10:1 (NIV) 1 Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who makes the storm clouds. He gives showers of rain to men, and plants of the field to everyone.

Matt 7:8 (NIV) 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Matt 21:22 (NIV) 22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

John 16:24 (NIV) 24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

James 1:5 (NIV) 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

1 John 5:14 (NIV) 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
